New CEO of OIM

OIM Sweden has appointed Thomas Hellström as the new CEO of the company. Thomas Hellström comes most recently from Etteplan, where he worked as Area Manager.

From March 1, Thomas Hellström will take up the role of CEO. At the time Thomas takes over as CEO, Ali Jehanfard, who has served as acting CEO since September 2022, will take on the role of Senior Advisor.

Thomas Hellström is basically an engineer from Uppsala and ended up in the consulting world early on. For a number of years, he ran Devex’s office in Uppsala before moving to Skåne and starting up Devex Mechatronics’ third office in Sweden. Since then, the work has mainly been characterized by growth and the establishment of more offices before the company was finally acquired by Etteplan. At Etteplan, Thomas has stayed for a few years to continue Etteplan’s operations in Lund.
