All of our employees act in the role as consultants where their assignments vary from in-house projects at our own site and off-site assignments at our customer’s premises. In both ways, we contribute with innovation capacity in our customers’ product development projects!
We make sure to find the right skills for the right place at the customer’s premises to match both the consultant’s and the customer’s needs. With us, nothing happens automatically, we make sure that both the consultant and the customer enjoy the arrangement to find the best solution.
Skills development
Our customers get help with innovative product and system solutions, and we start from the customer’s needs so we can work both off-site (off-site consultant) at the customer premises and here in our premises in Malmö (in-house consultant).
Our consultants alternately go out on projects at the customer to develop their skills but also to bring new innovative ideas to the customers’ product development. Our consultants working in-house make sure to drive the pace of innovation forward by constantly developing new ideas together with other colleagues and customers.
When our consultants are acting in assignments at the customer’s premises, they get an opportunity to develop their skills and also contribute with their expertise in product development in the customer’s projects.
In-house and off-site consultants
OIM is most often known for having many exciting in-house projects that our engineers get down to every day. No two projects are the same, but what is common is the innovative power we contribute to each development project.
The in-house projects are run according to our certified product development model where we quality assure through our ISO 13485 certification. At our premises, we have all the machines, tools, equipment, and other things needed to go from an idea to a finished product.
The off-site consultants can make a big difference in our customers’ projects. We can find the proper skills that the customer is looking for in their project and thus optimize the customer’s delivery. The consultant develops both himself and the customer by participating in various product development projects both on-site and sometimes also off-site.
In-house
When working in-house our consultants provide an opportunity to be involved from start to finish. New exciting projects are constantly coming in that the team will solve together. The projects are very varied and no two days are the same.
Off-site
When acting as off-side consultant, you agree internally on which customer and assignment is suitable. Off-site, you become one important part of the gang at the customer and contribute with your expertise to make a difference in the customer’s product development.
