ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
Do you want to work with electronics that become real products? And at the same time, enjoy the variety of consulting projects without losing the sense of team? With us, you get both.
Your role with us
With us, you alternate between assignments at client sites and projects in our in-house environment. Sometimes you are on-site with a client, contributing your expertise to their development team. Other times, you work alongside colleagues in our own facilities, developing prototypes and building new solutions. Wherever you are, you are always part of OIM.
You will work on projects with a great variety, ranging from MedTech and GreenTech to consumer products and industrial applications. One week, you may help develop a medical device, and the next week, you work on a completely different type of solution.
What you will do
You will be involved throughout the entire development journey, from early concepts to finished products. The work is hands-on and varied, and includes:
- Designing electronics and creating circuit schematics
- Selecting components
- Working with PCB design
- Testing, verifying, and troubleshooting
- Preparing test and production documentation
- Working with EMC in both design and verification phases
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in mechanics, software, quality, and industrial design to create complete, integrated solutions.
Our environment
At our facilities, you have access to everything you need to develop real products:
- Electronics lab
- Prototype workshop
- 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters
Here, ideas quickly turn into prototypes and eventually finished products.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
About you
We believe you have several years of experience in electronics design and want to continue growing in an environment with a great variety.
You have:
- An engineering degree in electronics or a related field
- Experience in electronics design at the PCB level
- Experience working with microprocessors, sensors, or similar components
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Interest in embedded software, mechanics, or Medtech is a plus, but not required.
We use Altium as our design tool.
Who you are
You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy tackling new challenges. You thrive in an environment where you take responsibility, collaborate with others, and work closely with both technology and business.
Why OIM?
With us, you get:
- Variety in assignments without changing employers
- The opportunity to work both on-site with clients and in-house
- The chance to develop real products, from idea to finished product
